I have stayed at Casa Galicia during January 18 – 29, 2021. I came for face lift surgery from Toronto, Canada. Emma, her husband Luis, and their staff helped me with everything during my stay: transportation, appointments, translations, food, medications, etc. Emma treated me like her family, she is sweet, caring, and very knowledgeable. All the steps of the way I felt supported and protected. I could not have done this without Emma and Luis! A huge thank you for your professionalism and care! I recommend them from all my heart!

I traveled to Guadalajara for medical procedure and used Emma’s convalescence services as I was traveling alone.
Visiting a foreign country especially for medical reasons can be scary.
I was impressed by the home and the services provided. But more important, I was taken care of with compassion. Emma and her husband are extremely kind. They care about people and I couldn’t have received better attention. Emma has 2 staff members who stay at the convalescence to care for the patients while she is attending the hospital with the patients arriving or being discharged and the too are amazing individuals.
I had the pleasure of meeting beautiful ladies and now I call them my friends in Guadalajara! I look forward to visiting them in the near future

I would like u to know 2 years ago I had planned surgery and decided to use the after care B&B with Emma. I’m very glad we did, her 1 bedroom apartment was perfect and private, with very nice set up.
king size bed nicely decorated, living room with TV recliner fan sofa. and Emma was excellent hostess. We even were invited to eat with her family and go on weekend Saturday outing with them.
She was kind enough to allow my husband to also stay with me for a very small Xtra fee. If I had to do it again I would definitely stay there.

After my surgery, I went to Emma’s recovery house. Casa Galicia
Emma was very attentive, compassionate and caring. We had a private room with a bathroom. Meals were included and very healthy. Luis, her husband picked us up from the airport and took care of all our transportation. He was always on time and he was so kind.
The staff were so great too. They were always right there to help. It was truly a great experience much to my surprise. When you are not feeling well, it is nice to have people who care.

After spending many hours online researching, I decided Casa Galicia had the most to offer. Emma and her staff, all so gracious, really did exceed my expectations. Everything was taken care of – healthy home-cooked meals, I was driven to and from the airport and doctor visits, comfortable, modern accommodations, and as much privacy as I wanted. It was heaven, binge-watching Netflix in my room. My only job was to relax and rest. My surgery outcome was so successful that I will likely make future visits to beautiful Guadalajara as a medical tourist. I already know that if and when that time comes, there is no place I’d rather stay than Casa Galicia.

Soy extranjera en México. Y decidà hacerme una cirugÃa en Guadalajara. Pues irÃa sola con miedos y sentimientos encontrados propios de las circunstancias. Fui desde Córdoba Veracruz y es cierto, adolorida, pero pase dÃas geniales con atenciones de su Anfitriona que superaron mis expectativas. Emma una mujer muy trabajadora, amable, con un derroche de dulzura y simpatÃa sin igual. Brinda en su casa todo lo necesario para que huéspedes/pacientes se sientan a gusto y tengan una amena recuperación. Durante mi estancia no sentà que fuese una casa de cuidados, realmente me sentà en mi hogar, con el mismo cariño, atención y cuidados que esperas solo de tu familia. Me voy extrañando sus placenteras e interesantes pláticas asà como su excelente sazón… Ricos platillos de bajas calorÃas acordes a una dieta posquirúrgica de tan buen gusto que no evité pedirle algunas de sus deliciosas recetas. Emma una persona con un agudizado sentido humano, siempre con una sonrisa, me dio gusto saber que aún existen en el mundo personas que trabajan con auténtico amor hacia el prójimo.
Sus colaboradoras y esposo son personas muy nobles quienes recordaré con especial cariño en un lugar de Córdoba Veracruz.

I feel so lucky to have stayed with Emma post surgery. I was simply looking forward to a quiet place to recover with a minimal amount of effort towards providing my own meals. To have three healthy meals ( I have high cholestrol) provided was amazing! I was also concerned that I should have someone close by should I have an emergency. But my stay with Emma provided true care and concern and attentiveness to my specific needs, and someone was available 24 hours a day. She also made me feel better about the process of healing, as she has had so many patients come through her recovery home, she often knew before me what I might be needing be a it a support pillow or ice pack or more, and was so available to provide these things at a moment’s notice. I could not have predicted this. Also the value of having in house transportation and accompaniment to get medication and to and from the airport was so worth the extra cost. I don’t speak a word of Spanish so to have this built in translator made my stay absolutely seamless.
I am so grateful to her. She is kind and thoughtful and there to provide help. I cannot recommend her enough.
